Its Obesity Obesity is the reason of many deadly diseases like high BP, heart disease, diabetes and many more. According to the survey report conducted by the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-4), 14 % of our overall population is suffering from this ailment. The survey highlights that urban population is more prone to obesity as compared to their rural counterparts. If we consume high amounts of energy, particularly fat and sugars, but don’t burn off the energy through exercise and physical activity, much of the surplus energy will be stored by the body as fat. which is a threat to our health. BMI is an easy-to-calculate measure of obesity, based on the ratio of our weight and our height. If your BMI ranges between 18 .0 to 23 kilogram per (meter square) , it is considered as normal range. If its between 23 to 25 than you are overweight In case its more than 30 kilogram per (meter square) , you have entered the obese category. There are some leading causes of Weight Gain like Genetics Offsprings of obese parents are much more likely to become obese than offsprings of lean parents. Certain diseases like Thyroid, diabetes and High BP can lead to a person becoming overweight or obese. People lose control over their eating behaviour and have lots of junk food in the same way as alcoholics lose control over their drinking behaviour, increases the risk of obesity. With a sedentary lifestyle, you can easily take in more calories every day than you use through exercise and normal daily activities. Astrologically, the individuals born in watery signs i.e. Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces tend to be overweight. In our Horoscope chart, if Jupiter is placed in Lagna (Ist house) and aspected by sun, moon or venus, those people are likely to be overweight. Be it male or female, this rule is applicable to both.
