You are Pisces, if you were born between 20 February and 20 March. Your element is water and your planet of Neptune. Both are blue, why I use many different blue shades in my polymer clay interpretation. Pisces are considered primarily as happy, dreamy, compassionate and creative. Many of these people you will find therefore in the art, literature and entertainment industry. Known Pisces are for example Erich Kästner, Charlotte Roche, Justin Bieber oder Wilhelm Grimm of the Brothers Grimm. My Pisces have large, deep eyes due to the rumored character traits of these people and are composed of many color gradient in bold colors. I’ll show you now step by step, how I made my polymer clay jewelry Pisces. Especially if you are zodiac Pisces, I hope you like my representation of your constellation. Here we go with the zodiac symbol of the Pisces. The symbol of the fish I have made of the color black and baked it. I also use a small vial in a heart shape. I glue the icon with the help of super glue firmly inside the glass. The symbol I glued into the vial. Furthermore, I have mixed Resin in a paper cup. The Resin I mix with pink chalk. The small vial I fill with pink Resin. Then I let cure the Resin for 24 hours. For the Pisces body I make two color gradients. For the first color gradient I use three colors – white, blue and ultramarine. For the second color gradient I use three colors – white, violet and purple. I roll out white at level 3. I roll out violet at level 3. I roll out purple at level 3. The colors of the blue color gradient I have also rolled out following the same principle. I have the colors for the gradient cut and placed side by side. I put a color gradient. I fold the colors together and roll out the three colors at level 3. This step I repeat 20 times. The color gradients now look like this. I stretch the color gradient from step 3 to 7. The stretched color gradient now look like this. The basement of the Pisces I made out of polymer clay residuals. The fish body I wrap with the color gradient. I wrapped both Pisces. My Pisces now looks like this. For the Pisces I create two different eye canes. For the first eye cane I use four colors – white, magenta, violet and purple. For the second eye cane I use four colors – white, a mix of blue and white, blue and ultramarine. I roll out white at level 5. I roll out magenta at level 5. I roll out violet at level 5. I roll out purple at level 5. The solid colors I cut into uniform sized strips. The strip I subdivide into different sized pieces. I put out the iris. I start with white, add the bright blue on, followed by the blue and finally a small piece of ultramarine. I reduce the iris to a long thin ribbon. I divide the reduced cane in uniform sized pieces. The small pieces I lay next to each other and put them around black pupil. I close the cane with a white polymer clay layer. I reduce the two canes. Small slices of the canes I use in the zodiac sign Pisces. For the fin I create two color gradients. For the first color gradient I use five colors – purple, violet, magenta, red and orange. For the second color gradient I use a mix of black and ultramarine, ultramarine, blue and blue green. I roll out orange at level 5. I roll out violet at level 5. I roll out purple at level 5. I roll out red at level 5. I roll out magenta at level 5. The colors of the blue color gradient I have also rolled out following the same principle. I have the colors for the gradient cut and placed side by side. I put a color gradient. I fold the colors together and roll out the five colors at level 5. This step I repeat 20 times. The fin shape I mold out of polymer clay residuals. The fin shape I wrap with the color gradient. I mold the fin with a needle tool. Following the same principle I made the dorsal and ventral fin. I cut the fins carefully with the knife. Following the same principle, I also decorated the blue fish with fins. In addition, both fishes have gotten a scale pattern. The two fishes I have put together. I put the vial in the center of the motive. The upper fish I easily cut with the knife. In the hole I press the vial and place it centrally between the two fishes. On the back I place a metal eyelet. I bake the Pisces 30 minutes at 110 degrees. I roll out black at level 5. After baking, I decorate the back of the amulet with the color black and fix the eyelet. The front of my zodiac sign Pisces looks like this. I bake my Pisces again 20 minutes at 110 degrees.
