Hello friends, welcome to my new video – Astrology for beginners Today, I’ll try to help those who want to understand their own horoscope by themselves A horoscope has 12 “Bhavas” (Sections) as you may have noticed, your horoscope has 12 sections which are called “Bhavas” In these 12 Bhavas, we have 9 planets and 27 “Nakshaktras.” So, what is meant by a horoscope? Whenever a child is born, the “rashi” (moon-sign) which is ascendant, we call it Lagna. We place this “lagna” in the 1st Bhava of the horscope. By this process, we keep filling our horoscope. Now, with the help of a diagram, I’ll explain you how do we decide the lagna. A horoscope has 12 “Bhavas” and 12 “Rashis.” It has 9 planets and 27 “Nakshatras.” Now, I’ll tell you about all the rashi(s) which one needs to fill in bhavas 1st comes Aries, 2nd comes Taurus, 3rd is Gemini, 4th is Cancer, 5th is Leo, 6th is Virgo, 7th is Libra, 8th is Scorpio, 9th is Saggitarius, 10th is Capricon, 11th is Aquarius and 12 is Pisces. And the nine planets are 1st is Sun, 2nd is Moon, 3rd is Mars, 4th is Mercury, 5th is Jupiter, 6th is Venus, 7th is Saturn, 8th is Rahu and 9th is Ketu. These are the 9 planets. We also have 27 “Nakshatras” also. So, whenever a child is born, at that time, whichever rashi is ascending in the sky determines our “lagna.” Now with the help of a diagram, I’ll help you understand how our “lagna” is decided I’ll tell you how to place the lagna in the horoscope, Here, the section where number 1 is stated is called as the first bhava which is also called as “Lagna”. In this horoscope, in the first section/Bhava, number 1 is written. Number 1 means our first “rashi”, that is Aries So, this here is Aries lagna Whenever we’ll see such kind of a horoscope, we’ll say that it is an Aries lagna kundli. Because, here in the first section, number 1 is written. So this is the first bhava, this is the second bhava, this is the 3rd bhava which is of Gemini rashi, this is the 4th bhava which is of Cancer rashi, this is the 5th bhava which is of Leo rashi, This is the sixth bhava, which is of Virgo rashi, this is the 7th bhava, which is of Libra rashi, this is the 8th bhava which is of Scorpio rashi, next is our 9th bhava which is of Saggitarius rashi, then is the 10th bhava which is of Capricon rashi, next is 11th which is Aquarius And the final is the 12th bhava which is of Pisces rashi. Now, for example let us suppose, when someone is born, at that time Gemini rashi was in ascendant I will show you how this horoscope will be made. This is an empty diagram of a horoscope. Now I will once again explain you how to write lagna. So if Pisces rashi is ascendant at the time of the birth of the child We will write number 3 in the first bhava because pisces is the 3rs rashi. And then, chronologically we will fill all the 12 bhavas. 3 then 4 then 5th then 6th then 7th then 8th then 9th then 10 then 11th and then 12th Since there are only 12 rashis, after 12 we will start once again with 1. Then 2 comes So, in the 12th bhava, we have Taurus rashi and the lagna is Gemini rashi. So, this was the horoscope with a Gemini rashi lagna Now, if you ever make your horoscope, you must not face confusion as to how to fill the bhavas There is a fixed pattern for this. I’ll explain you about it. So let us suppose our lagna is gemini. so gemini is our number 3 raashi. so in the first bhava, we will write number 3. Now you may wonder where number 4 raashi will come? For filling we have a fixed pattern. 4th number rashi, that is the cancer rashi will come here only. similarly, 5th number will come here only 6th number will come here only. Similarly, we will fill all the 12 bhavas in a chronological order. This is the fixed pattern of filling and we will follow this pattern only despite of the lagna.
