The Three of Wands – Virtue – tarot minor arcana divination meanings and description

Three of Wands, Virtue. This is going to be
a short video because Crowley does not say a lot about this card. It might be quite surprising.
At the top of the card you can see the symbol of the Sun, so the Sun rules the 2nd decanate
of Aries. and the name is Virtue. Crowley says, this card refers to Binah in the suit
of Fire, and so represents the establishment of primeval energy. Primeval energy probably
means in this case the ace of Wands, the establishment of the Ace of Wands. through Will of the 2
because the Will just does stuff. This will has been transformed to the Mother who conceives
and gives birth to the manifestation. This is why we didn’t see anything of this in the
2, because the Aces and 2s are a phallic thing, lets do it. The mother is the reception to
it. She is about to create something new. The meaning is harmonious for this is the
beginning of Spring. For this reason one sees the one taking the form of the lotus and lotus
blossom. We have the 3 wands with a lotus blossom at the top. The son has en-kindled
the Great Mother. Now the Son is Tipareth, position 6, the Great Mother. Now he also
brings in the I Ching at this point, and he says Sol in Aries is represented by the 11th
hexagram Thai, this meaning is identical with the above description. We will have to check
on that, won’t we? He is bringing other energies into play, here. Now, time to go on to the
4th card, 4 of Wands, Completion.
